The Office of Patients Rights is responsible for investigating complaints and concerns about mental health treatment in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
They monitor facilities providing such care to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
They provide training on patients rights to providers and consumers.
They represent client’s expressed wishes at certification hearings.
