Admission Criteria

At Restpadd Health Corp. we provide acute inpatient psychiatric care for adults and youth who require behavioral health stabilization and treatment in a safe, supportive environment.

Patients may be admitted to Restpadd when the following criteria are met:

  • The individual requires psychiatric or behavioral health care at an inpatient level of treatment.

  • A medical clearance has been completed—typically in an emergency department—to rule out serious or unstable medical conditions that would make psychiatric inpatient care unsafe or inappropriate.

  • The patient must be ambulatory (able to move independently or with minimal assistance).

  • All patients admitted are evaluated by a physician or qualified physician extender daily to monitor and guide treatment.

Please note: Restpadd does not accept walk-in patients. All admissions must be coordinated through appropriate medical and clinical channels.

Exclusionary Criteria

Restpadd Health Corp. is not an appropriate setting for all behavioral health needs. We are unable to admit or treat patients under the following circumstances:

  • Primary diagnosis of chemical dependency, acute intoxication, or withdrawal from substance

  • Primary diagnosis of an eating disorder

  • Severe medical conditions or complications requiring interventions beyond the scope of a psychiatric health facility

  • Any major mental disorder that presents with medical instability or complexity outside our facility's capabilities
